Somehow - someway by the time I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade, I
knew that I wanted to be a photographer.
My parents gave me a
Kodak Brownie Hawkeye camera. I ate it up with a passion. (I still have it to this date).
Two years later, they gave me a an
ANSCO CONTACT PRINTING KIT. This stuff developed the film and made prints as well. All B/W.
Then in the mid-teens, I realized that a GOOD camera takes better photographs. I was working and found a YASHICA-A Twin Lens Reflex Camera.
"Oh Mom, Please, let me buy this - it will be the only camera I ever BUY" - - - Yea! Right! Many cameras later I became professional by the time I was 20 years old. I shot weddings all through the 70's, 80's & 90's.
Digital came along and the whole world of photography - started all over again. This completely rejuvenated the interest level.
We are now in a completely new era. I, personally, shoot WITH
NIKON, CANON, & SONY digital cameras and for print we ourselves. - (
No outside labs), with
EPSON PHOTO STYLUS printers.
We make our own frames from "frame moulding stock". At the same time, we have added the ability to produce our own MATTES (Colour matched to your choice)
We use mostly WHITE LIGHTNING STROBE UNITS with umbrellas to shoot our Portraits and Headshots.
